How are they made?
All earring and pins are made by hand in small batches in Tanisha's small home studio.
Polymer clay is a synthetic, oven-bake modeling clay that's made from polyvinyl chloride (PVC), a plastic polymer that bakes hard in a standard oven. No moulds or casts are used; just hands, clay tools and paint brushes.

I have personally dropped my earrings on concrete floors, left them in handbags for weeks and had them rolling around in jewellery boxes and they have been fine. However stepping, sitting and sleeping on them will break them. If you own a pair of earrings with a metal scroll backing please push them on with a soft, even pressure and do not force them. I found that some heavy handed people (me included) could snap the metal out of the clay if forcing at an angle. All earrings are now sold with a soft silicon backing to avoid this issue.
Pins come with a metal butterfly clasp backings that can loosen. To adjust and strengthen the grip of the clasp, stretch the small tabs/'wings' of the clasp away from eachother.
